A positive housing community is inclusive, respectful, and provides its members with a sense of safety. University Housing is committed to creating safe and welcoming communities for all residents and staff members, regardless of race ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, ability, socio-economic status, and veteran status.
Students residing in on-campus housing have responsibilities not only to themselves but also to the larger community. Residents and University Housing staff are expected to make mature, responsible and respectful choices. Community members have the responsibility of working together to develop a positive living environment by becoming actively involved in community events, volunteering with Community Partners service programs and getting involved with Hall/Community Councils.
